After the devastating loss of two rescue cocker spaniels, within just 13 months of one another, we have taken the plunge and decided instead to 'start from scratch' and adopt a puppy. Rescue dogs have meant the world to us for years, but adopting them in middle age, with all their inherent heath issues, can mean you get to spend too short a time with them before having to say goodbye.
So this will be my blog of bringing up a cocker spaniel puppy…

Hi, I'm Brynceri 'Rock Steady' Eddie and I'm a one-year-old Blue Roan cocker spaniel.
I reckon I'm fairly typical of my breed – in fact I can be summed up in five words: "That dog's a bloody menace". I'm not sure what it means, but that's what the humans say about me anyway.
This is my blog about me growing up with my humans in London, our training trials and tribulations, and of course my exploits with my foster sister Ruby. I hope you have fun reading about me!
